AMES, Iowa - With classes underway, Iowa State continued practice and preparation for the Sept. 5 season opener against SEMO with a Tuesday morning practice and media availability following.

Quarterbacks coach Keith Heckendorf spoke to media about the progress his position group has made, while the only new member on the defensive staff, Ross Watson, talked about the SAM linebackers and nickel backs. Linebacker Malcolm Jones also met with media to discuss his transition to Iowa State.
