Ottumwa Tailgate Tour Stop Complete With "Canteen Lunch"

OTTUMWA, Iowa - The first stop of the 2010 Tailgate Tour is in the books, beginning with a lunch stop Wednesday in Ottumwa. Director of Athletics Jamie Pollard as well as head coaches Paul Rhoads, Kevin Jackson, Bill Fennelly, Christy Johnson-Lynch and Duane Sorenson met with several hundred Cyclone fans from Southeast Iowa at the Bridge View Center.
Following the one-hour stop. the traveling caravan of coaches and staff members stopped at the "Canteen Lunch," a quaint diner located in a downtown Ottumwa alley. The brief lunch stop came at the request of Pollard, who read about the diner in Our Iowa Magazine, courtesy of Roy Reiman, founder of ISU's Reiman Gardens.
