Section 26 Seating Process
Do I have to select my seats on a computer?
We strongly encourage you to select your own seats online through your “My Cyclone Athletics Account” using the Virtual Venue, as this process will give you the most control in making your seat selections. You will be able to see exactly what seats are available, along with views from the seats.
However, if you are unable to access the internet at your appointment time, you may give your account information to a delegate or you may select seats over the phone (888-478-2925 or 515-294-1816) or in person at the Iowa State Athletics Ticket Office located in the Olsen Building on the northwest end of Jack Trice Stadium.
Can I select my seats on an iPad?
Yes, the Virtual Venue technology is compatible with the Apple iPad. It is not compatible with an iPhone or Android devices.
How long will I have to select my seats?
Once your appointment window opens, you can look at live seat inventory and make your seat selections up until the seating process is closed on January 29. You do not have to choose seats right away; however, keep in mind that others will be able to select seats as their selection window opens, so we encourage you to choose your seats as close to your assigned time as possible.
How do I know what seats are available?
During your time slot Sections 15 & 16 will be highlighted “Green” on the virtual venue and have ticket availability. Once you choose your desired section the seats in “Green” are available and the seats in “Red” are unavailable.
What if I want tickets in another section?
You are guaranteed the tickets you select during this process in Sections 15 or 16. By purchasing these tickets you are automatically given the opportunity to change the location of them during the regular season ticket holder upgrade process which will take place in May.
How can I select seats next to my friends?
Patrons looking to sit in a group, with friends, must wait until the last member of the group’s appointment time. At that time, each member of the group will then need to log-on and choose their respective seats.
Are payment plans available?
Yes, three (3) to five (5) month payment plans will be available for you to choose at check out.
How do I renew my tickets that were not located in Section 26 last year?
Those who purchased season tickets in 2016 that were not located in Section 26 will receive renewal information in February for these season tickets.
How do I renew my parking pass and chair-backs?
Those who purchased a parking pass or chair-backs in 2016 will receive renewal information for these items in February.
