Jamie Cranfill joined the Iowa State Athletics Department in June of 2022.
With an extensive background working in college athletics, Cranfill brings a wealth of knowledge to ISU's Olympic sports teams. She serves as the lead dietitian for men's and women's basketball, volleyball, soccer, track and field/cross country, and swimming and diving. Cranfill is responsible for leading each team's nutrition counseling and education services, game day nutrition protocols, Sports Nutrition procurement and collecting and analyzing pertinent health and performance data with the goal of supporting well-being and development.
Prior to joining Iowa State, Cranfill served as a sports nutrition graduate assistant at West Chester University (Penn.) from 2020-22. She was also a sports nutrition fueling station manager at TCU from 2019-20. From 2020-22, Cranfill worked as a private practice registered dietitian for Portrait Health Centers.
A graduate of Iowa State, Cranfill completed internship stints at her alma mater, Minnesota and Delaware.
