Bobby Sanchez

Assistant Coach

Bobby Sanchez brings experience as a track coach and as a personal trainer to the Iowa State track and field program. Sanchez is a USATF Level 1 Track and Field coach who is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS). He spent the last three years as head track and field coach at Grossmont (Calif.) High School and was the head cross country coach there for three years.

Sanchez graduated from San Diego State in 2006 with a bachelor’s of science in kinesiology with emphasis in physical education. A Dean’s List member at SDSU, the Lancaster, Calif. native volunteered on the San Diego State strength and conditioning coaching staff during the 2006-07 school year.
