Nicole Kiley joined the Iowa State Athletics Department as assistant athletics director for sports nutrition in April of 2022.
With more than a decade of experience serving elite athletes, KIley leads her team of registered dietitians, graduate detetic interns, undergraduate student workers and culinary experts to provide first-class clinical and food services to ISU student-athletes by utilizing the Stark Performance Center Dining Center.
In addition to supporting the football and basketball programs, Kiley serves as the lead dietitian for wrestling and high-risk disordered eating cases.
Kiley has been recognized for her interdisciplinary collaboration and program development and has spoken nationally for the American Sports and Performance Dietitians Association (APSDA) on the following topics:
Prior to ISU, Kiley served as UNLV's first Director of Performance Nutrition from 2017-22. She also had stints with Cirque du Soleil, a professional mixed martial arts company and USA Volleyball.
Kiley holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Nutritional Science from California State University Long Beach.
