AMES, Iowa - Sophomore Erica Martinez was named to the Louisville Slugger Midwest Region second team as a designated player. Martinez batted .336 and led the team in RBI (22), hits (40), runs (17) and doubles (8). The Fort Madison, Iowa, native also had a team-high seven home runs, ranks second on ISU's single-season chart. Martinez has 12 career home runs to rank third on the career ISU homer charts.
