Iowa State Softballers Earn Postseason Honors

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Iowa State softball team earned post season honors Wednesday as the Big 12 Conference announced the Acaemic All-Big 12 team and the All-Big 12 team.
Sophomore Erica Martinez garnered first-team designated player all-Big 12 honors, while senior Kimi Yoshizawa was a at-large first-team all-Big 12 selection
Five Cyclones earned acaemic all-Big 12 accolades. Seniors Kristin Ferguson, Sarah Kinney, Kimi Yoshizawa and juniors Laura Browning and Amberly Lessenger were named to the first-team academic all-Big 12 team. This is the fourth time Ferguson, a math major, has been named to the academic all-Big 12 team.
