ISU Softball Ranked 36th Academically in the Nation

AMES, Iowa ? The Iowa State softball team has been honored as a Top Academic Team by the National Fastpitch

Coaches Association (NFCA). The Cyclones ranked 36^th among Division I teams with a cumulative 3.188 grade point average during the 2003-04 academic year. Baylor is the only other Big 12 team represented.

Last spring, Iowa State had six players named to the academic All-Big 12 team, with four being named to the first team and two being named to the second team.
