ISU Softball to Compete in the Big Four Challenge

AMES, Iowa ? The Iowa State softball team will compete in the 2004 Big Four Challenge, Sept. 25-26 at the UNI Softball Field in Cedar Falls. Teams included in the tournament are Drake, Iowa, Iowa State and Northern Iowa. Northern Iowa is hosting the tournament.

The Cyclone's first game is against Drake on Saturday starting at 11 a.m. ISU will then play Northern Iowa at 3 p.m. On Sunday, the Cyclones will finish up their participation in the tournament with a 10 a.m. game against Iowa and a 12 p.m. match up with Drake.

The Cyclones will continue their fall season on Oct. 2-3 when they play host to the Iowa State Fall Tournament. The tournament includes William Penn, Kirkwood, Grand View and Muscatine Community College.

Saturday, Sept. 25

Iowa State vs. Drake, 11 a.m.

Iowa State vs. Northern Iowa, 3 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 26

Iowa State vs. Iowa, 10 a.m.

Iowa State vs. Drake, 12 p.m.
