AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State women's tennis program received a national letter of intent from Dora Losonczy, head coach Michele Conlon annouced yesterday.
Losonczy currently plays No. 1 singles for her women's tennis club team, Talentum in Budapest, Hungary and has ranked nationally as high as No. 15 in the U18s. The Budapest native has won the good student award and the good sportsman award of Budapest every year since secondary school. Losonczy has maintained an average GPA of 4.6 on a 5.0 scale at Csik Ference High School and plans to major in psychology while at Iowa State.
