More success came from ISU in the 800-meter as Sara Boisen notched another top ten finish, taking fourth with a time of 2:12.29.
Freshman standout Lashawn Wright added an additional spark to the meet, setting a personal best time of 24.97 in the 200-meter dash for sixth place. Along with her performance in the 200, Wright also clocked a 7.77 in the 60-meter dash good for fifth to cap off her day.
Freshman Jenna Caffrey led the way for the hurdlers placing third in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.68. Caffrey finished runner-up to ISU's Rebecca Williams 60-hurdles in the previous two meets of the season. Nikita Eades from
Sophomore Leia Jackson, who previously ran the second leg of the ISU Open championship 4x300-meter relay team, placed sixth in the 600-yard run crossing the finish line in 1:29.77.
Returning home, senior Leigh Wagner, leaped into ninth place in the high jump, with a height of 5-4 1/4. The
Senior Amy Waggoner earned fifth in the Women's weight throw with a toss of 41-10.00. It was her highest place in the event all season.
Other top ten finishers include junior Megan Nielsen in the 60-meter dash, freshmen Whitney Jacobs and Shaylyn Wiarda for the 600-yard run and junior Mackenzie Madison in the 3,000-meter run.
