Cyclone WBB Fans Offered Road Trip To Minnesota

AMES, Iowa ? The Iowa State Athletics Department is offering a bus trip to watch the Cyclone women's basketball team face Minnesota at Williams Arena in Minneapolis, Minn., on Friday, Dec. 21.

The bus will leave on Friday at 9 a.m. from the Jacobson Athletic Building and return to Ames immediately following the game. The trip, which will include a ticket to the game, a round-trip bus ride to Minneapolis, and last minute holiday shopping at Mall of America, is available for $40. Fans who already have transportation can purchase tickets for just $5.

Additionally, any Cyclone fans attending the game in Minneapolis are welcome and encouraged to stop by "Sally's Saloon and Eatery," which is located at 712 Washington Ave., just three blocks southeast of Williams Arena, to meet up with other ISU fans before the game.

Fans can mail in or drop off an order form at the ISU Athletic Department or register online. The deadline for registration is Monday, Dec. 3, at noon. The trip is subject to cancellation depending on participation.

Friday, December 21

8:30 a.m. - Buses begin loading
9:00 a.m. - Buses leave from Jacobson Athletic Building
12:30 p.m. - Buses arrive at Mall of America
3:30 p.m. - load buses
4:00 p.m. - Arrive at Sally's
6:00 p.m. - Leave for the game

7:00 p.m. - Iowa State vs. Minnesota

9:30 p.m. - Depart from Williams Arena ? time is approximate

1:00 a.m. - Arrive back in Ames
