Track and Field Heads to UNI Dome Open

Senior Dan Taylor will see his first action of the year when he runs the mile. The
“Dan Taylor has been injured and is trying to get back,”
ISU will have a full field for the 60-meter hurdles. Seniors Kellen Burl and Neil Hines, junior Sterling Frison, sophomore Eric Parker and freshman Ryan Paul all plan to compete in the event. Paul also will partake in the high jump and pole vault.
Five sprinters plan to run in the 60-meter dash. Parker, Frison, Burl, junior Jared Lewis and freshman David Dawson look to sprint strong prior to the conference meet.
Junior Stefan Tauber along with Hines and Lewis all look to sharpen their skills in the long jump at the UNI Dome. Hines is fresh off his NCAA provisional qualifying performance in the heptathlon at the ISU Classic. He scored 5,350 points to place second in the event last weekend.
This is the second time the Cyclones have competed away from
The 2007 UNI Dome Open starts at 2 p.m. with the men's weight throw.
