AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State tennis team will return to Big 12 Conference play as the Cyclones play host to Nebraska at the Forker Courts Saturday at 3 p.m. After a week off, the Cyclones (5-5, 0-4), are excited to get back on the courts.
The Huskers (8-5, 1-4), are coming off a 3-3 stalemate against No. 67 Texas Tech which was postponed due to inclement weather. Nebraska's lone Big 12 victory came against Missouri back on Feb. 11, as the Cornhuskers routed the Tigers, 6-1.
ISU has not played since falling to Coastal Carolina, 5-2, back on March 15. The Cyclones' match against the Huskers will be their first of a four-meet homestand after playing four of their previous five matches on the road.
The Cyclones are coming off an east-coast trip where they went 1-1. ISU defeated UNC-Wilmington, 5-2, before falling to Coastal Carolina two days later.
