The Big 12 Conference indoor 60-meter hurdle champion Rebecca Williams puts a cap on her incredible season when she competes at 5:05 p.m. Friday in the prelims. The senior won the league event by running a season best 8.19. Her time is the 14th fastest in the nation.
Representing ISU in the triple jump is junior standout Agata Kosuda who will compete at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Kosuda qualified her best time at the ISU NCAA Qualifier with a jump of 43-06. That effort ranks the 11th best in the country and ensured a trip to
“Both the triple jump field and hurdle field are really tight once you get past the first two people,” women's track and field head coach Dick Lee said. “It's very possible for both of them to break into the scoring column and place in the top eight, if they have really good days.”
