The Bears (39-11, 9-2 Big 12) enter Friday's contest riding a two-game losing streak after being swept by Oklahoma on Wednesday ... it marks just the second time this season that they have lost two games in a row ... seniors Ashley Monceaux and Lisa Ferguson lead the Bears ... Monceaux hits at a .406 clip, which is fifth in the Big 12, and has a team-high 51 runs batted in ... Ferguson is one of the top pitchers in the league with a 1.97 ERA and a record of 18-6 ... freshman Kirsten Shortridge has spelled Ferguson, posting a 13-3 record and a 2.05 ERA, in 116 innings of work ... Shortridge has also posted a .376 batting average for the Bears, who hit .319 as a team ... Baylor leads the Big 12 with 118 stolen bases on 133 attempts ... Texas A&M is second with 92 stolen bases ... Tiffany Wesley leads the team with 30 stolen bases on 35 attempts ... Baylor is coached by Glenn Moore, who is in his seventh season with the school.

ISU lost a pair of Big 12 midweek games to Nebraska, extending its winless streak to three games ... the Cyclones fell 6-0 to the Huskers in Lincoln on Tuesday before dropping a 3-1 contest in Ames on Thursday ... in Thursday's game, ISU fell behind 3-0 in the second but pitcher Alyssa Ransom kept the Huskers off the board the rest of the game to give ISU a chance ... the Cyclones scored a run in the sixth on Alex Johnson's 11th double of the season before loading the bases in the seventh ... Ashley Killeen drew two walks against Nebraska Thursday to give her a team-high 13 on the season ... Killeen will be the first player in ISU history to play in 200 career games with her next appearance ... Alex Johnson's double against Nebraska was her first extra-base hit since April 5 against North Dakota State (Eight games) ... 22 of Johnson's 55 hits have come with two-outs ... Freshman Record Holder
Alex Johnson became the freshman record holder for hits in a season with her fourth inning double against Northern Iowa on March 28 ... it was Johnson's 46th hit of the season at the time, which broke the previous record of 45 that was set by Erin Woods (1996).
