Koll Sixth in Drake 5,000

DES MOINES ? ISU's Lisa Koll overcame adversity to place sixth in the Drake Relays 5,000-meters on the Jim Duncan Track in Drake Stadium Thursday.
Koll had injured her back two weeks ago and lost a week of training.
“When you consider that she couldn't even walk two weeks ago, it is quite amazing that she ran as well as she did,” Lee said. “This race showed her that her body is getting back to being able to run at her best.”
The Big 12 Championships are May 11-13 in Lincoln, Neb.
