AMES, Iowa- Iowa State men's track and field shuttle hurdle relay squad joined elite status for the 2007 outdoor season, winning a 2007 ACCUSPLIT Relay Award in the event with the fastest time in the nation.
Sterling Frison, Eric Parker, Kellen Burl and Scott Lynn recorded a 57.92 clocking in the event at the Drake Relays on April 28, earning a Drake crown and securing the NCAA's fastest time.
ISU's shuttle hurdle relay squad has a rich history. The Cyclones captured the Drake title in the event in 2006 with a time of 57.48.
