Clone Zone to Web Cast 30 Winter Events

AMES, Iowa ? The Clone Zone premium video content section of cyclones.com is pleased to announce its comprehensive live web cast schedule for winter sports. A minimum of 30 Cyclone events ? in men's basketball, women's basketball, wrestling and gymnastics ? will be shown live online at cyclones.com this winter for active members of the Clone Zone.
Men's Basketball
Five non-conference games, including the three World Vision Classic games (UC-Davis, Nov. 14; Loyola-Marymount, Nov. 15; UW-Milwaukee, Nov. 16) will be shown live online. The two other games appearing on the web cast slate are Mercer (Dec. 31) and Houston Baptist (Jan. 6). Big 12 television contracts and/or available feeds prohibit schools from live web casting additional games. Click here to see the 2008-09 men's basketball schedule.
Women's Basketball
Subscribers to the Clone Zone will have access to 15 live web casts of Coach Bill Fennelly's women's basketball team. The schedule includes eight non-league games (Drake on Dec. 11, Minnesota on Dec. 21 and Vanderbilt on Jan. 3 among them) and seven Big 12 encounters. Wrestling
Clone Zone members who are anxious to follow Cael Sanderson's second-ranked Iowa State wrestling team, will be able to view all seven home duals, highlighted by a Feb. 20 matchup with Minnesota (a feed from Mediacom Connections on the Clone Zone). Home duals with Oklahoma (Jan. 23), Oklahoma State (Jan. 25) and in-state rival Northern Iowa (Feb. 6) will also be shown live online. Click here for the 2008-09 wrestling schedule.
Gymnastics
All six of the ISU gymnastics team's home matches and a road dual at Minnesota (Feb. 7) will be available to members. Click here for the 2008-09 gymnastics schedule.
