AMES, Iowa -- For the second year in a row, IowaState captured the Big 12 Conference Wrestling Championship. Behind four individual title winners (Nick Fanthorpe-133, Nick Gallick-141, Cyler Sanderson-157 and Jake Varner-184), the Cyclones dominated the tournament by tallying 75.5 points to Nebraska's 62.5.
OklahomaState placed third (52.5), followed by Missouri (49.5) and Oklahoma (24). IowaState last won consecutive conference titles in 1979-80. ISU will take all 10 of its wrestlers to the NCAA Championships, March 20-22 in St. Louis, Mo.
