AMES, Iowa ? The Cyclone Wrestling Club will hold its sixth annual golf outing at the Cecil Rueter Golf Course in Grand Junction, Iowa, June 20, with a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start.
The golf outing will be played in a four-person best-shot format. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. Participants can register the day of the event in teams of four or individuals can be placed on a team.
“I'm excited about this event and I'm confident that my team is going to win,” head wrestling coach Cael Sanderson proclaimed. “We're looking for competition for second place.”
Upon conclusion of play, Sanderson will headline the coaches' program at 5 p.m., along with associate head coach Cody Sanderson. Cyclone Club wrestlers will also be on hand for the event. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m.
Cost for the event is $125 per person and includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, lunch and dinner. Proceeds from the event will support Iowa State wrestling.
