ISU Tennis to Compete in Gopher Tournament

AMES, Iowa - The Cyclone tennis team will travel to Minnesota on Friday to begin play at the Minnesota Gophers Tournament. ISU will compete against Minnesota on Friday at 6 p.m. The team will then take on Miami (Ohio) Saturday at 1 p.m.
Iowa State is 2-0 overall this season after defeating Drake (6-1) and Creighton (5-2). In doubles play, the Cyclones have earned a 5-1 record in those two matches.
The Golden Gophers are 1-2 this season. The Gophers defeated Drake (7-0) on Jan. 24, and then competed in the ITA National Team Indoor Championships.
The Miami University Redhawks have recorded a 2-4 start to their spring season. The Redhawks defeated Purdue 5-2, and shut out Eastern Illinois 7-0.
