OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.- The Iowa State women's basketball spent the day preparing to take on No. 6 seed Texas in the second round of the Big 12 Tournament Friday.

The Cyclones spent early Friday morning at a shootaround at the Cox Convention, as the teams that received a first round bye got a chance to get a feel for the arena.
After the official shootaround ended, the players got a quick bite to eat before spending the late afternoon and early morning studying. After several of the players took exams proctored by Iowa State's academic services staff, the team met in head coach Bill Fennelly's suite to go over game film from Texas' come-from-behind win over Missouri on Thursday.
At the conclusion of the film session, the team met in one of the hotel's meeting rooms and walked through the scouting report, as well as offensive and defensive sets.
