AMES, Iowa - The 18th-ranked Iowa State women's basketball team will take its four-game winning streak on the road as the Cyclones are set to face Kansas State at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bramlage Coliseum. ISU has won back-to-back games against Top 25 foes and two of its last four wins have come on the road at Colorado and Texas.

? Iowa State will return to Hilton Coliseum to play host to Texas Tech at 7 p.m. Feb. 3, in the Cyclones' final Wednesday night home game. ISU's final four regular-season home contests will be played on Saturdays.

A Closer Look At Kansas State
? Kansas State will look to snap a three-game losing skid on Sunday after taking the midweek off with a bye. The Wildcats are 10-9 overall this season and 2-3 in the Big 12. KSU opened the league slate with wins over Kansas (59-35) and at Missouri (65-50). Since then, the Wildcats have dropped games to Oklahoma State, Colorado and Nebraska.
? Senior Ashley Sweat, a preseason All-Big 12 Honorable Mention pick, is leading the way for the Wildcats with 17.4 points per game. She is playing 35.7 minutes a contest and is shooting 47.7 percent from the field and 47.9 percent from beyond the arc. Sweat is Kansas State's top rebounder, grabbing 5.8 boards a game. Freshman Brittany Chambers is KSU's second leading scorer, averaging 13.1 ppg. Senior Kari Kincaid is the squad's assist leader with 3.1 a game.
? Sunday's game will pit two of the nation's top four three-point shooting teams against each other in Manhattan. Last Time Out
? Iowa State won its fourth straight Big 12 contest and its second consecutive game against Top 25 competition by knocking off No. 11 Oklahoma, 63-56, Wednesday at Hilton Coliseum.
? The Cyclones had three players in double figures. Kelsey Bolte and Anna Prins each had 15 points, while Alison Lacey finished with 12 to put her in double figures for the 18th time this season. Freshman Jessica Schroll led ISU on the glass with a career-high 11 rebounds.
? Iowa State won the battle of the boards for the 16th time this season, slightly edging Oklahoma, 37-36. ISU got 13 rebounds off the offensive glass against the Sooners.
? The win over Oklahoma was Iowa State's first in seven tries and the first for the ISU seniors. It was Iowa State's first win over the Sooners since Jan. 2005.
? Iowa State shot just 37.8 percent from the field, but went 7-for-16 from downtown. The ISU defense held the Sooners to 34.6 percent shooting and a 5-for-21 effort from beyond the arc.

The Votes Are In
Iowa State leaped into the Associated Press Top 25 this week, with a No. 22 ranking. The Cyclones have received votes in the AP Poll for the last six weeks, but this is their first week in the actual rankings this season. Six other Big 12 squads are ranked in the AP Top 25, led by Nebraska's No. 6 ranking. ISU moved up to 18th place in this week's ESPN/USA Today Coaches' Poll, which is ISU's highest regular-season ranking in the coaches' top 25 since being reaching No. 18 on Feb. 14, 2005. The Cyclones were 11th in the final coaches' poll of last season.
Snapping Streaks
The Iowa State football team snapped a number of streaks during the fall, and the Cyclone women's basketball team is following their lead this season. ISU's win over No. 11 Oklahoma snapped a six-game losing streak to the Sooners. The Cyclones' win over Texas a few days earlier also snapped a couple of losing streaks for ISU. It was ISU's first win over the Longhorns in Austin since 2000, a streak of four straight losses. The win over UT also snapped a four-game losing streak to teams ranked in the AP Top 25, and a five-game losing streak to teams ranked in the AP Top 25 on the road.
Going to Overtime
Iowa State is 13-6 in overtime games under head coach Bill Fennelly and 21-15 overall. The Cyclones have won their last five OT contests and ISU's win at Texas in an extra period was its first overtime effort since defeating top-seeded Kansas State, 66-65, in the 2008 Big 12 Championship.
Hitting the Glass
Iowa State has been a solid rebounding team this season, winning the battle of the boards in all but three games this season. ISU is averaging 38.7 rebounds per contest. In the three contests leading up to Big 12 play, the Cyclones averaged a rebounding margin of +26. ISU outrebounded those three opponents by a combined total of 139-61, and in each game the Cyclones had more rebounds than the other team had points. Iowa State is averaging a rebounding margin of +9.4 per game, which ranks second in the Big 12 and eighth in the country (as of Monday). Rebounding has been a team effort, however, as four players are averaging 5.3 rebounds per game or more.
Defensive Pressure
The Cyclone defense has also been a bright spot this season. Iowa State is holding opponents to just 53.4 points per game through 19 contests. That mark leads the Big 12 and is ninth in the nation (as of Monday). ISU is also holding opponents to 36 percent shooting from the field and 29.6 percent from beyond the arc.
Triple Threat
ISU senior Alison Lacey has been outstanding this season. The 6-foot point guard is averaging 18.1 points, 6.3 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game. In Iowa State's win over Iowa, Lacey posted just the second triple-double in school history. She recorded 19 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds. In that same game, she also had five steals and two blocked shots. The only other triple-double in school history was by Jane Lobenstein in a game vs. Kansas in 1986. Lacey has scored in double figures in all but one game this season and has only turned the ball over 37 times in 19 games. She is shooting 45.9 percent from the field and 42.2 percent from beyond the arc.
On Fire
Iowa State has been one of the hottest three-point shooting teams in the nation again this season. The Cyclones have averaged 8.3 three-pointers per game (eighth nationally) and have shot the ball at a 41.6 percent clip (ranks second in the nation) from beyond the arc. Iowa State has hit 10 or more three-pointers in seven games this season. ISU hit 33 three-pointers in back-to-back games this season (17 vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 16 vs. Iowa). It's the first time in school history Iowa State has hit 30 or more treys in consecutive games combined. ISU has also hit at least 10 threes by halftime in two games. Three Cyclones have knocked down 31 or more three-pointers, including two with 43 apiece. Five ISU players are shooting 42 percent or better from long range this season.
National Status
In NCAA statistics released Monday, Iowa State had two individuals who ranked highly in a number of categories. Alison Lacey ranked in the top 10 in three categories. She led the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.31), ranked 10th in assists per game (6.4), and was third in triple-doubles (1). She was also 18th in free-throw percentage (.888) and 31st in scoring (18.4 ppg). Kelsey Bolte ranked 22nd in three-point percentage, hitting at a 44.4 percent clip, while Lacey ranked 41st at a 41.7 percent clip.
Big 12 Status
Alison Lacey leads the Big 12 in assist-to-turnover margin (3.2), and is second in free-throw percentage (.881). She is third in assists per game (6.3) and ranks sixth in scoring (18.1).She ranks second in scoring in Big 12 Conference contests with 19.8 ppg. Kelsey Bolte is third (2.4) in the league in three-pointers made, while Lacey is seventh with 2.3 pg. Bolte ranks fourth in three-point percentage (.453), while Whitney Williams is eighth (.425) and Lacey is ninth (.422). Anna Prins ranks fourth among Big 12 freshmen in scoring, averaging 9.2 points per game. Chelsea Poppens ranks third among Big 12 freshmen in rebounding with 5.7 rebounds per contest.
1,500-500-500 Club
Senior Alison Lacey is close to becoming the only player in Iowa State history to reach 1,500 points, 500 rebounds and 500 assists in her Cyclone career. Lacey currently holds 1,490 points, 527 rebounds and 461 assists.
