ISU ranked 16th in the final Associated Press Top 25, which was voted on before the postseason began, and Iowa State ranked as high as 12th in the 2009-10 regular season coaches' polls.
The Cyclones went 25-8 on the season and advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16 for the second straight season, one of just five teams to do so.
