Cyclones Hold First Practice of 2011-12 Season

AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State women's basketball team officially opened the 2011-12 season Sunday night with a practice at the Sukup Basketball Complex. The team went through a three-hour training session in its first meeting.
Following the practice, Cyclone head coach Bill Fennelly stopped to talk with cyclones.com about the practice and the upcoming season.
Iowa State will hold its annual Media Day Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. The event will start with Coach Fennelly's press conference, which will be streamed live at cyclones.com.
