Cyclone Notebook
- Iowa State looks to snap a two-game skid Sunday as it plays host to Kansas State in its WBCA Pink Zone game. The game will be televised by ESPN2 in Iowa, Kansas and a small portion of western Missouri. Much of the rest of the nation will get "whip-around coverage."
- ISU has been ranked in the Associated Press top-25 for 29-straight weeks.
- Iowa State is now 16-7 overall and 4-5 in Big 12 play after falling to Kansas, 86-85, in overtime Wednesday night in Lawrence. The Cyclones trailed by as many as 15 in the second half before rallying to force overtime. ISU led by one with seven seconds left, but a turnover on the inbounds pass gave the ball back to Kansas, who got a bucket in the lane from Carolyn Davis to seal the win.
- Iowa State had three players score 20+ points for the first time since the 2002 season (Lindsey Wilson, 25; Tracy Gahan, 21; Angie Welle, 20 vs. Kansas State). Kelsey Bolte led the way with 26 points, Hallie Christofferson added a career-high 21 and Chelsea Poppens scored a season-high 20 points before fouling out near the end of regulation.
- Anna Prins missed the Kansas game with knee discomfort and is day-to-day.
