- ISU has been ranked in the Associated Press top-25 for 30-straight weeks.
- Iowa State is now 17-7 overall and 5-5 in Big 12 play after defeating Kansas State, 61-53, Sunday afternoon at Hilton Coliseum. The Cyclones picked up the win despite tying a season-low with just two 3-pointers.
- Kelsey Bolte tallied 25 points behind a career-best 12-for-12 performance from the free throw line. Anna Prins returned to score 10 points after missing the game against Kansas due to knee discomfort. Hallie Christofferson recorded her second double-digit rebounding effort against K-State, pulling down 11 rebounds.
- Christofferson, the reigning Big 12 Freshman of the Week, is averaging 15.2 points and shooting 62.8 percent (27-43) from the field the last five games. She is also 19-for-23 from the free throw line during that stretch. The Hamlin, Iowa native has been in double figures in four of the last five games.
- Bolte's 18.5 points per game is the highest by a Cyclone since Lindsey Wilson's 19.3 in 2003.
- In conference action, Bolte is third among Big 12 players averaging 22.6 points per game. Bolte leads the Big 12 with nine 20-point games in conference play.
