Iowa State Travels To Meet Penn State

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State tennis team (3-4) will meet Penn State (3-3, 0-1) at University Park, Penn. for competition at noon Saturday.
The teams' primary concentration this weekend will be on their focus against the Nittany Lions.
“We're working on being more consistent during matches,” Cyclone head coach Armando Espinosa said. “We don't want our momentum to shift.”
Espinosa's squad sealed a 6-1 win over Western Michigan last weekend and has captured the doubles point in their past two oppositions. The Cyclones are concentrating on doubles again, and were working hard in practice this week to make that happen.
“Doubles is key against Penn State,” Espinosa said. “We want to see the same kind of energy we had for doubles that we had against Western Michigan last week.”
Iowa State is hoping to secure another road win before playing host to North Dakota and Northern Iowa next weekend.
