Cyclones' Series with UMKC Cancelled

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Cyclones' double-header with the University of Missouri-Kansas City Kangaroos was cancelled Monday due to snow fall in the Kansas City metro area. The games will not be rescheduled.
Iowa State (13-8) returns to Ames after sweeping a three-game set with Wichita State (6-18) over the weekend. The team will travel to No. 12 Stanford on Friday for the Louisville Slugger Classic where they will face the Cardinals as well as teams from Nevada-Las Vegas, Cal Poly and Northwestern.
First up for the Cyclones this weekend are games with UNLV and Stanford on Friday at 3:30 p.m. CST and 8:30 p.m. CST, respectively.
