KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Iowa State women's basketball team will open Big 12 Championship play Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. against Nebraska at Municipal Auditorium. The Cyclones are seeded fifth, while Nebraska is the No. 12 seed.
The winner of Tuesday's game will face fourth-seeded Kansas State Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.
Iowa State finished the regular season 21-9 overall and 9-7 in Big 12 play. Nebraska enters the tournament 13-17 overall and 3-13 in conference action.
