INDIANAPOLIS - Iowa State senior Kelsey Bolte added another All-America award to her name when the Women's Basketball Coaches Association and State Farm announced its All-America Teams on Saturday morning. Bolte was recognized as an honorable mention All-American, her second such honor after an impressive senior season.
Bolte joined a group of six Big 12 players to be recognized after averaging 16.9 points per game and earning unanimous All-Big 12 First-Team accolades at the end of the regular season.
Bolte, a guard from Ida Grove, Iowa, ranked among the nation's leaders in a number of categories, including free-throw percentage (10th, 88.8), three-point field-goal percentage (15th, 42.1), three-point field goals per game (35th, 2.7) and points per game (63rd).
