AMES, Iowa – Iowa State tennis is preparing for the Big 12 tournament this week. The Big 12 Championships will kick off on Thursday at the Baylor Tennis Center in Waco, Texas.
Iowa State (10-15), coming off a loss to Nebraska in the regular season finale, will face sixth-seeded Texas Tech in the first round. Tech is currently ranked sixth in the conference with a record of 17-7. The dual is set to begin Thursday at 10:00 a.m. (CST)
With a first-round win over the Lady Raiders, the Cyclones would move into quarterfinal competition against Oklahoma on Friday morning. The Sooners (17-5) have a first round bye and are seeded third in the tournament.
