Cyclones 10th After Two Rounds At NCAA West Regional

AUBURN, Wash. - The 19th-ranked Iowa State women's golf is currently in 10th place after two rounds at the NCAA West Regional in Auburn, Wash. The Cyclones carded a 306 this afternoon to give them a two-round 611 tally.
The Cyclones are eight shots behind Texas A&M and Oregon, who are currently tied for eighth at 603 with one round to go. The top eight teams will advance to the NCAA Championships, May 18-21.
Freshman Prima Thammaraks carded a 73 for the Cyclones this afternoon to give her a two-day 150 tally. She is currently tied for 32nd to lead all Cyclones. Senior Victoria Stefansen is tied for 45th at 153 (74-79).
Tennessee's Erica Popson leads the medalist race at 137.
The final round will conclude tomorrow with 18 holes.
