AMES, Iowa - Iowa State and Unites States head coach Bill Fennelly have finished pool play at the World University Games undefeated following Tuesday's 85-33 win over Great Britain in Shenzhen, China.
The team opened play on Aug. 14 with a 112-53 rout of Brazil and followed that with a 114-68 win over Slovakia.
The United States was the first team to advance to quarterfinal play with a 3-0 record. Its quarterfinal opponent will be announced later today with tournament play starting on Thursday, Aug. 18.
