Bingley Named Big 12 Freshman of the Week

AMES, Iowa - Iowa State freshman guard Emiah Bingley has been named Big 12 Freshman of the Week after scoring 16 points in the Cyclones' win over North Dakota Sunday.
Bingley, a Greenwood, Mo. native, went 7-for-10 from the field and grabbed five rebounds in the win. She also had two steals and an assist.
Bingley ranks among the top-three freshmen in the league in points (11.0), steals (3.5) and assists (6.0).
Kansas forward Carolyn Davis was named Big 12 Player of the Week.
Bingley and the Cyclones return to action Friday vs. Loyola Marymount at 1:30 p.m. (CST) at the Junkanoo Jam.
