- Iowa State shot 46.2 percent from the field, its second-straight game shooting above 45 percent.
- Chelsea Poppens led the Cyclones in scoring for the ninth time this season with 22 points. It was her fifth 20-point game of the season. Hallie Christofferson (13) and Nikki Moody (12) were also in double figures for the Cyclones.
- Lauren Mansfield finished with eight assists. As a team, ISU had 19 assists (on 24 field goals), its highest total in conference play this season.

- Brynn Williamson, who missed the Kansas State game with a knee injury, is tied for third in the Big 12 averaging 1.9 three-pointers made per game.
- Williamson's fellow freshmen Nikki Moody is leading Big 12 rookies in assists and ranks second among them in scoring. She is also fifth in steals and rebounding.
- Poppens' eight double doubles are second in the Big 12. Only Baylor's Brittney Griner has more with 10.
- Moody is shooting 81.8 percent (18-22) on free throws over the final five minutes of the game this season.
- Poppens is the only Big 12 player averaging a double-double with 14.4 points and 11.1 rebounds.

Don't Foul!
- A key philosophy for head coach Bill Fennelly's gameplan has always been to limit fouling, thus keeping opponents off the free-throw line. This season has been no different as Iowa State is tied for the second-least free throw attempts allowed in Big 12 play. Here is a look at the top-five:
Team Opponent FT Attempts
1. Baylor 100

Kansas State 118
4. Texas A&M 125
5. Oklahoma State 130
Poppens Efficient From Field
- Poppens is shooting at a 53.3 percent clip from the field and is on pace to be the first Cyclone to top the 50 percent mark with over 200 shot attempts since Amanda Nisleit in 2008-09.
