AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State women's basketball closes out the regular season home schedule Wednesday when it faces Kansas State on Senior Night. Chassidy Cole and Lauren Mansfield will be recognized for their contributions to the program following the game. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m.

Cyclone Notebook
- Iowa State, which is 6-2 in February, closes out the month hosting Kansas State on Senior Night. It marks the first time in school history that the Cyclones will play on "Leap Day". Iowa State is 14-2 in Senior Day games since Fennelly's arrival in Ames.
- The Cyclones fell to Oklahoma State 71-63 Saturday night in Stillwater. Iowa State held a four-point lead at the break but was outscored by 12 in the second half.
- Poppens continued to put up impressive numbers for the Cyclones, finishing with 19 points and 17 rebounds. Poppens has been in double-figures in 11 games in a row and has double-doubles in the last two games.
- Poppens was named Big 12 Player of the Week for the third time this season after averaging 22.0 points and 16.5 rebounds in two games last week.
- Lauren Mansfield was the only other Cyclone in double-digits, finishing with 12 points.
- Iowa State has had three different Cyclones record with 11 assists in a game this season. Nikki Moody vs. Oklahoma, Mansfield vs. Texas and Chassidy Cole vs. Kansas each had 11 dimes in Cyclone wins.
- Poppens needs just 32 points to become the 23rd member of Iowa State's 1,000-point club.
- Poppens has also moved into the top-five list for rebounding with 293 boards this season, which ranks third. She needs four more rebounds to match Stephannie Smith's total in 1986.
- Brynn Williamson has 45 threes this season, which is tied for fifth among Iowa State freshmen. She needs two more to tie Kelsey Bolte for fourth.
- Christofferson is second in Big 12 play shooting 48.0 percent from behind the arc.
- Nikki Moody broke the freshmen assist record against OU and currently has 120 dimes this season. Moody finished with 11 assists, her first career 10-assist game, vs. the Sooners.
- Lauren Mansfield had a career-high 11 assists and just one turnover against Texas.
- Poppens has posted double-digit rebounds in 16 of the 26 games she has played in this season. The junior leads the Big 12 and is eighth nationally averaging 11.3 rebounds per game.
- Williamson is fifth in the Big 12 averaging 1.7 three-pointers made per game. As a team, Iowa State leads the league hitting 7.2 threes per contest.
- Williamson's fellow freshman Nikki Moody is leading Big 12 rookies in assists and is third among them in scoring.
- Poppens is tied for the Big 12 lead with Baylor's Brittney Griner for most double-doubles with 14.
- Poppens is the only Big 12 player averaging a double-double with 15.2 points and 11.3 rebounds.
- Moody is shooting 78.9 percent (30-38) on free throws over the final five minutes of the game this season.
- Poppens needs 36 rebounds to move into sixth place all-time at Iowa State. Janel Grimm (1995-98) is currently sixth with 813 career boards.
- Iowa State has an all-time record of 608-523 (.538), including 371-170 (.686) under the direction of Fennelly.
Streaks and Trends
- The Cyclones have won six home games in a row.
- The Cyclones have hit at least five threes in 12-straight games.
- Poppens has been in double figures in a career-best 11 games in a row and is averaging 17.2 points per game during the stretch.
- Poppens has 14 double-doubles this season, including six of the last eight games. She has posted double-digit rebounds in 20 of her last 30 games dating back to last season.
- Poppens has at least four offensive rebounds in 11 of the last 14 games.
- Brynn Williamson has made at least one 3-pointer in 24 of the 26 games she has played in this season. She has hit multiple threes in 16 games.
- Williamson has hit a three in nine games in a row.
- Iowa State has outrebounded 19 of its 27 opponents this season. The Cyclones are 14-5 in those games.

- The Cyclones beat the Wildcats, 66-57, in Manhattan on Jan. 25. ISU outscored the Wildcats 39-21 in the second half to overcome a nine-point halftime deficit. Poppens led three players in double figures with 23 points. Moody and Mansfield added 15 points each for the Cyclones. Jalana Childs led K-State with 22 points.
- As a head coach, Bill Fennelly owns an 22-14 record against KSU.
- The Cyclones are 135-101 all-time against Big 12 foes.
