Quick Hits With Amber Ewert

AMES, Iowa - The Cyclone softball team includes nine newcomers, seven freshmen and two sophomore transfers, this season. Each week, cyclones.com will feature one of the nine newcomers, allowing fans to get to know the players off the field.

This week, Southeast Missouri State transfer Amber Ewert steps in front of the camera. A native of Lee's Summitt, Mo., Ewert is hitting .357 in nine games, four starts, for Iowa State this season with five RBIs, including two last weekend in Iowa State's 6-4 win at Missouri State.
