AMES, Iowa - The Cyclone softball team includes nine newcomers, seven freshmen and two sophomore transfers, this season. Each week, cyclones.com will feature one of the nine newcomers, allowing fans to get to know the players off the field.
Freshman catcher Kayla Hardiman steps up to the plate this week. The Council Bluffs, Iowa native has started 10 games for the Cyclones this season, collecting five hits, one walk and an RBI against Green Bay in the season opener.
