AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State women's basketball team faces Oklahoma Tuesday evening at Hilton Coliseum in a battle of nationally ranked Big 12 foes. The Cyclones are No. 24 in the latest poll, while Oklahoma comes into the game ranked No. 16. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

- Iowa State, which is ranked No. 24 in The Associated Press poll and was No. 24 in last week's USA Today Coaches' Poll, hosts No. 16/14 Oklahoma Tuesday evening. The game pits the Sooners, currently tied for first with Baylor in the Big 12, against the third-place Cyclones.
- A win Tuesday night would give ISU its best overall start (13-2) since the 2008-09 season. It would also be the best Big 12 start (4-1) for the Cyclones since 2004-05.
- The Cyclones have won eight-straight games at Hilton Coliseum. ISU has also won its last nine Big 12 home games. The last loss home Big 12 loss was on Jan. 14, 2012 to Texas A&M.
- After shooting just 29.3 percent from behind the arc as a team over the first eight games of the season, ISU has shot 34.7 percent from long range in the last six contests. The Cyclones have hit 8.7 threes per game starting with the Air Force game on Dec. 29.
- The Cyclones have been one of the top defensive teams in the nation this season. Iowa State ranks 11th nationally allowing opponents just 49.9 points per game behind the nation's third-ranked field goal percentage defense (31.4 percent). Behind the arc opponents are shooting just 25.8 percent.

Chelsea Poppens had one of her best games of the season against TCU, finishing with 24 points and 15 rebounds. It was the fourth 20-point, 15-rebound performance of her career. The senior missed three games during nonconference play (concussion). She ranks third in the league grabbing 9.9 boards per game. She is also 12th in scoring (13.0), fourth in free-throw percentage (83.7) and fifth in field-goal percentage (56.4).

Nikki Moody is second nationally dishing out 7.6 assists per game. She has posted double-digit assists in three games this season. The sophomore has recorded at least five assists in 12 of the 13 games she has played this season.

Brynn Williamson has taken on the defensive stopper role this season and is averaging a team-high 1.4 steals per game. Despite the increased defensive role, Williamson still ranks among the nation's top shooters, sitting 30th nationally and second in the Big 12 shooting 41.7 percent from behind the arc. She has hit 30 threes this season.
- The Cyclones are assisting on a Big 12 best 73.7 percent of their field goals. ISU has nine games this season with 17 or more assists after doing so just 10 times all last season. ISU is 16th nationally in assists per game.
