AMES, Iowa – The No. 14 Iowa State women's basketball team (10-0, 0-0 Big 12) continued its undefeated run with a 72-50 win over the Holy Cross Crusaders (7-3, 0-0 Patriot League) Saturday at Hilton Coliseum. Iowa State was led by a double-double performance by
Nikki Moody, who recorded 14 points and 10 assists for ISU.
How It Happened:After getting off to a slow start and going down 6-0, the Cyclones rebounded with a 22-8 run to close the half. Iowa State used eight first-half 3-pointers to help close the gap, with Kidd Blaskowsky leading Iowa State with a 3-of-3 performance from deep in the first half. Iowa State would enter the locker room with a 41-22 lead.
The Cyclones continued their momentum into the second half holding Holy Cross to just 28 second-half points. Iowa State also out-rebounded the Crusaders 46-to-35.

Moody got the Cyclones back on track with a clutch 3-pointer after a slow start. The junior guard would notch a season-high nine assists in just the first half while recording her fourth double-digit scoring game with 10 first half points.
In the second half, Moody was quick to knock down a double-double, ending the game with 14 points, 10 assists and four rebounds.
