Iowa State Announces Fall Tennis Schedule

AMES, Iowa- Iowa State tennis head coach Armando Espinosa announced the team's 2013 fall schedule Wednesday afternoon.
The Cyclones will compete on six weekends this fall, opening with the Drake Fall Invitational from Sept. 13-15 in Des Moines.
Iowa State will also participate at the Gopher Invitational (Sept. 20-22), UNI Invitational (Sept. 27-29) and the University of Arizona Tournament (Oct. 11-13). The Cyclones will also be represented at the ITA Regionals in Norman, Okla., Oct. 17-22.
ISU wraps up its fall campaign at the Cougar Classic in Houston, Nov. 1-3.
"We like how this schedule sets us up for the spring," Espinosa said. "We wanted to schedule good competition that would allow our team to get a lot of matches in and prepare for the spring."
Iowa State will announce its spring schedule at a later date.
