- Iowa State faces Arkansas Pine-Bluff on Sunday, Dec. 14 at noon in Hilton Coliseum. This is the second meeting between the Cyclones and Golden Lions. Arkansas Pine-Bluff (2-5, 0-0 SWAC) enters the game looking for its first road win of the season, while Iowa State (5-2, 0-0 Big 12) looks for its fifth-straight home win this season.
- Iowa State ranks second in the nation in assist-turnover ratio (1.72). Senior point guard Nikki Moody, the top returning point guard in the Big 12, is fourth nationally in assists per game with 7.8 and second in the Big 12.
- Moody became the 26th player in Iowa State history to reach 1,000 career points. Moody sits at 1,059 points for her career, which puts her at 25th all-time in the record books. She is four points shy from 24th (Vanessa Ward, 1,063).
- Moody is second in the nation in career assists (585) and third nationally in career assists per game (5.81). Moody ranks third in Iowa State history in career assists with 585, she trails the school record held by Lyndsey Medders by just 134. Moody also led the Cyclones in assists with 163 last season, becoming just the fifth Cyclone to lead ISU in assists in three-consecutive seasons.
- Iowa State is first in the Big 12 and sixth in the nation in 3-pointers per game, averaging 9.7 per contest. Senior Brynn Williamson leads the Big 12 and is 46th nationally with 2.71 made per game.
- Williamson ranks 16th in the nation in active career 3-point field goals made, with 201. Her 201 makes ranks ninth in ISU history. She is just five makes away from passing Lyndsey Medders in eighth with 205. She also ranks 13th in career-active 3-pointers attempted with 593 total. She is just 11 attempts behind Stacy Frese, who ranks sixth in ISU history.
- Sophomore guard Seanna Johnson leads the Big 12 Conference with 9.7 rebounds per game. Johnson has recorded four double-figure rebounding games so far this season.
- The 2014-15 season marks the 20th in the tenure of Fennelly. Fennelly has led Iowa State to 15 NCAA Tournament appearances, which is the most of any Big 12 team since 1997. Fennelly boasts a 421-195 record at Iowa State and a 587-248 record in his 27-year career as a head coach. His 587 career wins lists him as 17th in the NCAA among active coaches.
- Over the last 19 seasons, no team in NCAA Division I has netted (4,813), attempted (13,487) or hit more 3-pointers per game (7.82) than the Cyclones. Over the last 19 seasons, Iowa State has also recorded the seventh-best 3-point percentage (35.7) in all of Division I. ISU's dominance from beyond the arc is unmatched and unprecedented.

- The Cyclones dropped a close one to the 24th-ranked Hawkeyes in Iowa City, 76-67. The Cyclones were within four of the Hawkeyes with just over 50 seconds left, but were unable to pull the upset.
- Sophomore guard Jadda Buckley was phenomenal with a season-high 25 points off 8-of-13 shooting. The Mason City, Iowa native kept the game close with clutch plays down the stretch.
