2016 Houston Invitational Schedule Update

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State softball team's schedule for the 2016 Houston Invitational has changed following the withdrawal of Jackson State from the tournament. The Cyclones will still play four games in Houston, but will now face Ball State twice during the weekend.
2016 Houston Hilton Invitational (Iowa State Schedule)
Fri., Feb. 19 (2 p.m. CT) – Iowa State vs. Ball State
Fri., Feb. 19 (7 p.m. CT) – Iowa State vs. Houston
Sat., Feb. 20 (1 p.m. CT) – Iowa State vs. Toledo
Sun., Feb. 21 (9 a.m. CT) – Iowa State vs. Ball State
Iowa State will now face the defending MAC Champion Cardinals twice over the weekend, bookending the tournament for the Cyclones. Ball State won 34 games a season ago and advanced to the 2015 NCAA South Bend Regional.
