AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State softball team returns to action at the Cyclone Sports Complex on Wednesday, when ISU is slated for a doubleheader against Indiana State. The games are set for 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. CT.
Admission to Wednesday's game, and all of Iowa State's home games at the Cyclone Sports Complex, is free of charge.

Cyclone Headlines
1. Iowa State (14-14 overall) is set to face the Indiana State Sycamores on Wednesday, March 30 at the Cyclone Sports Complex. The Cyclones and Sycamores a slated for a doubleheader, with games at 2 p.m. & 4 p.m. CT.
2. ISU split a home doubleheader with North Dakota State over the weekend, falling in the opener, 4-1 before a 7-2 victory that was called after five innings due to rain.
3. Sammie Hildreth was the hero of Saturday's victory over the Bison, as the senior was 3-for-3 at the plate with a double and a pair of three-run homers to lift the Cyclones to victory. The game marked career-highs for Hildreth with six RBIs and two home runs.
4. Pitcher Emma Hylen continued her strong freshman campaign, picking up the win over NDSU to improve to 7-3 on the season. Hylen wentall five innings, giving up two runs on just two hits. Hylen now boasts the No. 3 ERA in the Big 12 at 1.57. She is the only freshman in the top six of the category.
5. Brittany Gomez has come on strong of late and showed why she was one of the top returning offensive players in the conference. The senior is hitting .467 (14-for-30) over the past 10 games and is now No. 2 in the Big 12 in hits at 39. She has played four fewer games than the leader (BU's Jessie Scroggins - 40).
6. Gomez also leads the Big 12 in steals (16) and steals per game (.62), as she is well on her way to becoming the first player in school history with 20+ steals in four consectuvive seasons.
7. Cappaert has six home runs so far this season, including two in ISU's 8-5 victory over Ball State on 2-19. The senior currently ranks tied for fifth on the conference home runs list.
8. The Cyclones went 1-2 a week ago in Fort Myers, Fla. ISU fell 1-0 to Purdue to open the weekend, and then split a pair of games with the hosting Florida Gulf Coast Eagles. Iowa State's 8-3 win over FGCU marked its best offensive output since an 11-3 win over Fordham on March 4.
9. Freshman Savannah Sanders was named the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week following her 3-0 weekend at the Cyclone Indoor Invitational. The Mt. Juliet, Tenn., native had a 0.81 ERA with 23 strikeouts in 17.1 innings of work. Sanders was the first freshman in school history to earn the honor.
10. Sanders is the Big 12's top freshman pitcher in strikeouts (63), shutouts (2), starts (14) and innings pitched (87.1).
