BIMINI, Bahamas - The Iowa State women's basketball team (2-1, 0-0 Big 12) travels to Bimini, Bahamas to take on Tulane (2-2, 0-0 American) on Friday, Nov. 24 at 2 p.m. in the Junkanoo Jam. Iowa State is 0-1 all-time against the Green Wave and 3-1 all-time in the Junkanoo Jam.Â

- Junior Bridget Carleton is one of 20 players in the nation named to the Cheryl Miller Award Preseason Watch List, which honors the nation's top small forward. Carleton also earned honorable mention honors on the Big 12 preseason team for the 2017-18 season in addition to being a unanimous selection to the All-Big 12 postseason team in 2016-17.

- Freshmen Madison Wise and Kristin Scott each grabbed double-doubles in the Cyclones last outing vs. UMKC. The double-double performances were the first for both.
- The Cyclones welcome five newcomers to the roster with freshmen, Rae Johnson (Albertville, Minn.), Kristin Scott (Kasson, Minn.) and Madison Wise (Greenfield, Ind.), junior JUCO transfer, Bride Kennedy-Hopoate (Brisbane, Australia) and senior transfer, Alexa Middleton (Murfreesboro, Tenn.). Middleton will redshirt this season after transferring from Tennessee.
- The 2016-17 season marks the 23rd in the tenure of Bill Fennelly. Fennelly has led Iowa State to 17 NCAA Tournament appearances, which is tied with Oklahoma as the most of any Big 12 team since 1997. Fennelly boasts a 467-236 record at Iowa State and a 633-289 record in his 28-year career as a head coach. His 633Â career wins lists him in the top-30 in the NCAA among active coaches.

- The Iowa State women's basketball team (2-1, 0-0 Big 12) got back on track with a 61-45 win over UMKC on Monday night in Hilton Coliseum. Iowa State placed four in double figures and saw two freshman record double-doubles.
- Madison Wise made the most of her first-career start, grabbing 15 points and 15 rebounds, both career highs. Her 15 rebounds were the most by an ISU freshman since Seanna Johnson vs. Iowa. Her nine first quarter rebounds were also the most in school history in a quarter.
