AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State women's basketball team (5-5, 0-0 Big 12) continues its six-game home stand when it takes on Nicholls State (5-5, 0-0 Southland) on Thursday, Dec. 21 at 1 p.m. Thursday's game marks the end of the non-conference slate for the Cyclones as ISU begins conference play next Thursday against Kansas.Â
For Thursday's game the first 250 fans will receive and Iowa State Ornament courtesy of North Grand Mall. Cy Santa will be available on the concourse for pictures pre-game.

- Junior Bridget Carleton is one of three players nationally and the only power-5 player averaging 18.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists. - Carleton is 24 points shy of reaching 1,000 in her career. She has 976 career points and currently ranks seventh in school history in career scoring average, with 14.4 points per game. She just passed all-time great Megan Taylor (14.1), who sits in eighth. Carleton is also poised to become one of the fastest Cyclones to 1,000 points.
- Emily Durr ranks 23rd in the nation in 3-point field goal percentage. She's connected on 47.4percent of her shots from downtown and netted 18 triples on the year, which is third on the team behind Carleton (23) and Adriana Camber (20). As a team, the Cyclones have made 93 3-pointers and rank first in the Big 12 and 21st nationally with 9.3 per game.
- Iowa State had seven different Cyclones connect on a 3-pointer vs. NC Central. The Cyclones are one of just four schools in the nation to have seven different players make a 3-pointer in the same game, joining Jacksonville State, DePaul and Pitt.
- The 2016-17 season marks the 23rd in the tenure of Bill Fennelly. Fennelly has led Iowa State to 17 NCAA Tournament appearances, which is tied with Oklahoma as the most of any Big 12 team since 1997. Fennelly boasts a 470-241 record at Iowa State and a 636-294 record in his 28-year career as a head coach. His 636 career wins lists him in the top-30 in the NCAA among active coaches.

- Senior Emily Durr has been fouled on 3-point attempts in her career more than any other Cyclone. She has netted 39 points at the charity stripe off 3-point fouls in her career. She was fouled 10 times last season beyond the arc and 15 in her career.
