Cyclones Receive Their Letter Jackets

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State Letterwinners Club honored fall sport student-athletes who earned letters in their respective sports Wednesday evening.
The new letterwinners were awarded an "I" and the accompanying Cardinal and Gold letter jacket at a ceremony in the Sukup End Zone Club.
"I would always see the guys wearing their letter jackets around with pride and I couldn't wait to get one myself," Iowa State long snapper Steve Wirtel said. "They earned the right to wear the letter jacket, and to earn this is really special for me."
Student-athletes and managers in football, soccer, volleyball and track & field were presented their jackets by Letterwinners Club vice president Judge Johnston and their respective coaches.
